Twenty-eight, a dessert-first kind of girl, the closet book collector, creative-imagineer, serial expat, unconditional-lover, Wanderluster, Teacher and Student.
.Court Jeremiah is a Freelance Creative who has built a career through her twin passions: travel and creativity.
Over the past twelve years she has travelled the world soaking up the culture and telling stories through a collection of photographs and written words.
As a small child Court would be caught often hiding under her bed with a flash-light (well after ‘bed-time’) after spending hours reading, writing and bringing her imagination to life in the form of story-telling. Stories were infatuating for her; a wonderful thing for our minds and souls.
Throughout her academic life Court won numerous awards for Literature, the Arts and Language studies.
But it was when she was 16 that she went on her first overseas adventure to the country of Indonesia. Indonesia gave her- her first taste of a different culture and a different understanding of life. From then on, she was hooked and has since explored upwards of 30 countries.
For many years Court struggled with making the decision to pursue her career as a Writer. Many people considered it to be a ‘pipe-dream’ and too much of a risk to take. One day it became apparent to her that life is too short to do anything other than what makes your heart sing.
Court has also had career backgrounds in the areas of beauty therapy, hairdressing, early childhood education, training & assessment and hospitality.
For the last few years Court has mostly been working as a Freelance Travel Writer and Editor for Travel Companies in Australia, United Kingdom and Europe. Court has written in numerous styles – blog-writing, travel journalism, reviewing, ghost-writing, history pieces and brochures/pamphlets.
Court’s future goals are aimed at solidifying her photography skills, speaking with youths about mental health and the pressures of growing up. Court is amidst writing a book on her life-journey, with hopes to publish when she is 30-years-old.
When she is not working abroad Court lives in a small town on the Mornington Peninsula, an hour south of Melbourne, Australia.
